Common questions

When We Can Come

Do you work weekends and public holidays?

Yes, we're on call every day of the week, including weekends and public holidays, with no different pricing for the day itself. A real person answers whenever you call.

Are you really available 24/7?

Yes. It's not a marketing line, it's how the business runs: a real person picks up the phone at 2am the same way they do at 2pm, and a licensed plumber gets dispatched from there.

How do I book?

Call (02) 9140 0185 and tell us what's happening. We'll talk through the problem, get a plumber moving where it's urgent, and confirm a time that works if it isn't.

What happens after I call?

We get the key details, work out how urgent it is, and dispatch a licensed plumber accordingly. On site, you'll know the cost before anything starts, and the work is backed for good once it's finished.

Common questions

What It Costs to Get It Sorted

Why isn't the lowest price your main focus?

Because the lowest price usually hides a corner cut somewhere. We focus on a fair price that includes proper parts, a tidy job and a lifetime labour warranty, worth more than a few dollars saved upfront.

What does the $65 off your first service cover?

It comes straight off the invoice for your first job with us as a new customer, whatever that job happens to be. No code, no fine print, just mention it when you call.

How does your upfront fixed pricing work?

We assess the job on site, then give you a single set price for the whole repair before any work starts. Whatever happens on the day, that's the price you pay, nothing more.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

No. The call-out is $0, whether you decide to go ahead with the work or not. You only ever pay for the fixed price you've agreed to.

Common questions

Local Answers for Killara

Do you take on local new builds and renovation work?

We're primarily an emergency and repair team, but renovation work often turns up an emergency of its own, like old gas fittings or ageing pipework behind a wall being opened up for the first time in decades.

How local are you, really?

Killara is home turf for us, and Gordon, Lindfield, Roseville, Pymble and St Ives are all part of the same regular run, not occasional trips. We know the housing mix on each street well enough to quote it accurately.

Why do Killara's older homes get plumbing emergencies?

A lot of Killara's housing, including the streets around Killara Lawn Tennis Club and the Greengate Hotel on the Pacific Highway, is genuinely Federation era, well over a century old in places. Cold, shaded winters push hot water systems in those period homes harder than most, and ageing components simply reach their limit.

Do you cover the suburbs next to Killara?

Yes, Gordon, Lindfield, Roseville, Pymble and St Ives are all part of our regular Ku-ring-gai run, with the same fixed pricing and 24/7 response as Killara itself.

Common questions

Who's Responsible for What

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, we're licensed plumbers and gas fitters under Lic #465156C, fully insured for every job we take on. Our details are on the public register if you'd like to look them up yourself.

What is your lifetime labour warranty?

If our workmanship fails on a job we've completed, putting it right falls on us, full stop. It's not limited to a year or tied to any condition; it simply stands behind the work.

Are your plumbers qualified to work on gas?

Yes, our team holds gas fitting qualifications alongside their plumbing licence, so the person who attends a gas job is properly qualified for all of it, not just part.

Who is responsible for a blocked sewer, me or Sydney Water?

It depends where the blockage sits. Everything on your property up to where it joins the main is your responsibility and ours to fix; past that junction, it belongs to Sydney Water.
